A new record was set on Aug. 11 for the World Record Helicopter Team!

Total Flight Hours: 45 hours 30 minutes

Total Elapsed Time: 77 hours 44 minutes

Previous Record: 78 Hours

Distance: 4,112 miles roundtrip

Helicopter: OH-58A Kiowa

Cruising speed: 100 mph to 107 mph

Altitude: 100 feet to 2,000 feet

Crew: Pat Rodgers, Moreno Valley; Johan Nurmi, Corona; William Hendricks Jr., Winchester
